In alignment with South Africa’s national vision for inclusive economic growth and transformation, GoDigital Week emerges as a bold and strategic response to the country’s commitment to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), as outlined in the National Development Plan 2030, the Presidential Commission on 4IR recommendations, and the District Development Model (DDM)

This pioneering, week-long initiative is positioned as a national flagship programme that seeks to accelerate digital transformation across various sectors, with a particular focus on fast-tracking the capabilities of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Simultaneously, it aims to catalyze Local Economic Development (LED) in urban, rural, and township economies, fostering a more inclusive digital landscape for all.

GoDigital Week is more than an event; it’s a multi-stakeholder platform for action. It brings together government departments, development finance institutions, corporates, digital innovators, tech startups, academia, and MSMEs into a unified ecosystem. Through a series of immersive activities, the week will empower participants with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to succeed in an increasingly digital economy.
